New Year's Resolutions for Birding Costa Rica, 2020

Happy New Year! ¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

It's a new year and what better reason to take a birding trip to Costa Rica! Or Ecuador, or Brazil, or other places where Lifer Tours gets birders and photographers of all levels onto the birds of their dreams. Since the New Year is also a time for resolutions, for making plans for the next 12 months, if we had to make one resolution for 2020, it would be to surpass every client's wish list for the birding year.

Beyond that most important goal, we also have a few other New Year resolution ideas for birding in Costa Rica:

See more hummingbirds

An easy resolution to make because (1) Costa Rica has dozens of hummingbird species, and (2) it's fun to watch them! With visits to such sites as Cinchona, Savegre, Bajos del Toro, and other places that feature several of these little glittering beauties, we look forward to seeing and sharing them with our clients.

Take more photos of every tanager in Costa Rica

Photogenic birds deserve pictures and we are pleased to comply! Emerald Tanager, Silver-throated Tanager, Spangle-cheeked Tanager, Crimson-collared Tanager!

The names of these birds don't lie, in fact, they only hint at how spectacular these birds look through your lens.

See Resplendent Quetzal, owls, toucans, and other tropical birds in two weeks

There's nothing like enjoying an abundance of beautiful tropical birds especially during the winter! It might be cold and dark at home but in Costa Rica, the weather is sunny, warm, and beautiful. Knowing how important it is to see and photograph birds like trogons, the Resplendent Quetzal, toucans, and 100s of other species, we carefully plan our tours to show clients the best of Costa Rica every day of the trip. To learn more about the tours we offer, contact us today.

These are just a few of our resolutions for the upcoming year. Since showing and sharing birds is our passion, we look forward to making them happen! What are some of your resolutions for 2020? Please tell us in the comments, we would love to help you see them come true!
