Quarantine Birding in Costa Rica- Which Birds Can Be Seen?
2020 has become completely affected, defined by a pandemic. Travel restrictions are in place, in many parts of the world, hospitals and their courageous medical workers are under extreme pressure and even overwhelmed by people suffering from this novel disease. As we do our best to try and keep loved ones and ourselves healthy during times of self-imposed and official quarantine, it seems like just about everything has been put on hold, birding trips to Costa Rica included.
There are trying times for everyone, at Lifer Tours we cancelled trips without any additional fees, hoping to postpone them for future dates because eventually, we will get through this and the birds of Costa Rica and other exciting destinations will be waiting.
In the meantime, as with many birders throughout the world, we are spending most of our time in our respective homes.
With so much extra time on our hands, what else can we do but work on our yard lists and study the bird species seen from our windows? These are a small selection of beautiful garden birds from Costa Rica, we hope you enjoy these pictures:
